Coming from M25 Clockwise

Come off at Junction 19 signposted “A41 Watford”. Stay in the left hand lane on the slip road and all the way to the roundabout. At the roundabout, stay in the left lane and follow the signs to A41 Hemel Hempstead. When you come to the traffic lights about half a mile down the road, turn left on to Langleybury Lane. Follow the road for about a mile and a half and follow the road round to the right (it’s a sharp turn!). Once you see the “Chandler’s Cross, please drive carefully” sign, start indicating left and Lees Wood is about 150 yards past the sign.

Coming from M25 Anti-Clockwise

Come off at Junction 20 signposted “A41 Aylesbury/Hemel Hempstead/Watford”. Stay in the left hand lane on the slip road and to the roundabout. At the roundabout, stay in the left lane and follow the signs to A41 London/Watford. When you come to the traffic lights about half a mile down the road, turn right into the filter lane and on to Langleybury Lane. Follow the road for about a mile and a half and follow the road round to the right (it’s a sharp turn!). Once you see the “Chandler’s Cross, please drive carefully” sign, start indicating left and Lees Wood is about 150 yards past the sign.

Coming from the M1 Southbound

Come off at Junction 6 and follow the A405 towards Watford. You will approach some traffic lights, where you need to go straight on at. Just after those lights, 2 lanes become 3 and you need to stay in the middle lane (the left lane veers off to the left onto St Albans Road). Carry on down the A405, past the “longabout” and all the way down to the end of the A405. Head on to the A41 towards Hemel Hempstead/Aylesbury. Once you’ve come down the slip road, you need to move over to the right hand lane. On the 2nd roundabout, which is semi-traffic light controlled, go on the A41 towards Aylesbury/Hemel Hempstead. When you come to the traffic lights about half a mile down the road, turn left on to Langleybury Lane. Follow the road for about a mile and a half and follow the road round to the right (it’s a sharp turn!). Coming from the M1 Northbound

Come off at Junction 5 and stay in the middle lane of the three. Head towards A41 Aylesbury/North Watford. Go down the slip road on to the A41 and straight on at the traffic lights. Two lanes will become one as you approach the Dome Roundabout. When you approach the roundabout, it’ll widen into two lanes again just before the lights with Sainsbury’s on your right and ASDA on your left. After those lights, stay in the middle lane and head straight up the A41 towards Aylesbury. As you go under the A41 junction, start to move over to the right hand lane. On the roundabout, which is semi-traffic light controlled, go on the A41 towards Aylesbury/Hemel Hempstead. Coming from Rickmansworth/Croxley

Head towards The Green in Croxley, then onto Sarratt Road and in to “the lanes”. Turn right into Redhall Lane then follow the road by “Prime Steak & Grill” by turning right on to Fir Tree Hill. As you bend to the left going uphill, start indicating right and Lees Wood will be at the crest of the hill.
