Lees Wood Scout and Guide Activity Centre

is a small, intimate site ideal for Beaver Scout or Rainbow outdoor events, Cub Scout Pack or Brownie Pack Holidays, Guide & Scout Camps and District Activities.

Some small secluded woodland sites have also been brought into use, which are great for Scout/Guide Patrols! The whole area comprises 7 acres of camping area, a 17 acre event field, within a 67 acre site, so there’s plenty of activity spaces as well, and all of this is just 3 miles from the centre of Watford.

We offer a warm, friendly Scouting and guiding atmosphere; our staff are all volunteers, with service crews available to help you over any problems.

For weekend visitors, a Warden is always on site to receive campers from 7pm on Friday evenings and at various times over the weekend to answer queries.

Lees Wood is suitable for Duke of Edinburgh Award work; and other Youth and Community organisations are always welcome.
